FPSO HSE Specialist
Assist the OIM in the management of safety on the installation through communication and training activities, active and reactive monitoring, and implementation of the PTW system.
Ø Carry out the FPSO safety induction program.
Ø Plan and arrange training and exercises for emergency response teams.
Ø Train and access new personnel in the Permit to Work (PTW) system.
Ø Maintain logs and records of all safety training and exercises.
Ø Carry out periodic inspections and functions tests of safety equipment , and monitor spares for such equipment, including:
v Lifeboats, life rafts and life buoys;
v Fire fighting equipment;
v Breathing apparatus;
v Portable gas measuring equipment.
Ø Implement the Safety Maintenance Program (BASS).
Ø Carry out monthly inspections with safety delegates and department heads.
Ø Carry out work site inspections on a daily basis, including monitoring of compliance with the PTW system.
Ø Arrange daily safety / PTW meetings and Safety assessment.
Ø Assist the OIM in safety related matters in day to day operations.
Ø Advise Management on regulations and safety requirements.
Ø Become a member of the FPSO safety committee.
Ø Participate with line management in:
v Investigation of accidents, incidents and near misses;
v Area inspection and monitoring of reports arising.
Ø Monitor implementation of the FPSO Waste Management Plan.
Experience :
Minimum 2 years offshore expérience.
Minimum 2 years experience as a Safety Officer or equivalent.
Previous experience as an offshore Safety Officer.
Previous experience in administration of PTW systems.
