General Inspector
· Monitor the work and witness/ inspect project hold points.
· Perform random check of the WORK to assure that the Client’s contractor performance is satisfactory
· Liaise with Client’s QA/QC and disciplines engineers of any quality requirement.
· Work closely with client’s contractor quality control group, work group and safety supervisor…
· Communicate and deal with person in charge of Client’s contract organization for any issue on inspection, quality control and safety.
· Prepare daily reports for QA Engineers and RE on quality control, welding statistics, safety at work….
· Joint inspection with disciplines engineers on materials and equipment delivered to site
· Ship loose material verification and inspection
· Generate listing of all deficiencies and punch list items.
· Promote occupational safety and health and environment control.
· Raise Active Care tool/ Behavior Observation Tolls and near miss reporting
· Review additional Welding, Procedure Specification ( if required)
· Witness Welder Qualification Test and procedure Qualification Test
· Witness approve structural fit up welding
· Witness conduct structural dimensional checks
· Witness module integration and trial fit checks
· Witness tie-point dimensional checks
· Verify structural welding fit-up and installation
· Perform Non-destructive Test inspection and RT interpretation
· Monitor welding welding repair and welder’s performance
· Verify coating system application
· Report painting progress status
· Verify coating thickness
· Witness coating/painting qualification and paint panel test
· Check of the blasting/painting equipment prior to commencement of the work
Minimum requirements
Age: below 50 years old is preferable
Education: high school level/ SPM
Qualification: has CSWIP 3.1 certificate and in validity and relevant certificate for painting
Experience: 5 years in the area of welding inspections and 3 years in painting inspection in oil and gas industry
