Offshore Installation Manager
Safe and efficient offshore operations, the maintenance of technical integrity, compliance with safe operating practices, environmental and legislative requirements.
Fulfill the risk management requirements by ensuring risks in the operations and maintenance of the Company offshore facilities are identified, and procedures are established and implemented.
Manage the human resources available onboard, to maintain a flexible and efficient work culture.
HSE RESPONSIBILITIES
· Manage and administer the Formal Safety Assessment.
· Encourage staff in raising the HAZARD report for safety improvement.
· Delegate the discipline supervisor to close out the HAZARD actions as soon as possible.
· Chair for the monthly safety meetings.
· Report and investigate all accidents, incidents, near misses and dangerous occurrences. Being as an incident investigation team leader.
· Prepare annual facility safety plan.
· Manage, control, and approve the Permit to Work system.
· Plans and Co-ordinate Emergency Response exercises, drills and exercises on the company offshore facilities.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Deploy company's HSE and management systems for offshore operations.
· Prepare annual work program and budget for offshore operations.
· Ensure the latest procedure in the Facility Management System is implemented and maintained onboard.
· Non-compliance with the Company's HSE and FMS is identified and addressed.
· Motivate and ensure participation of employees and contractors in the management of safety.
· Company policies are known, understood and adhered to.
· Personnel who perform work on the Facility are aware of their responsibilities for managing health, safety and the environment as detailed in the FMS.
· Appraisals of all personnel are conducted on a regular basis, training needs and requirements are analyzed and coordinated with training coordinator to fulfill.
· Lines of reporting and communications onboard are adhered to; any changes in the onboard organization are reflected in a revised organization plan.
· Co-operation between all departments and personnel on the Facility.
· A good working relationship with the Client’s Representatives.
· Conduct an annual review of the FMS.
· Manage the development of the facility’s annual production and maintenance plans.
· Facility reports and forecasts are prepared and submitted.
· Chair for the daily maintenance meeting.
· Work closely with FSO contractor and Drilling contractor to achieve production and HSE goals
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Advanced Diploma or Bachelor of Engineering Degree.
· Strong personal and interpersonal skills, culturally aware with experience of working with a multicultural workforce.
· OIM Legislation certificate is preferred.
· Fluent in English, able to make detailed and comprehensive reports.
· At least 15 years experience in an offshore oil and gas industry, at least 5 years of which should be in a management role.
· Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
· Demonstrated ability to work with diverse group of people ranging from technical staff to on site operations personnel.
· Experienced with safety management systems and certified in Management of Major Emergencies.
