General Description:
The E & I Engineer, reports to the FPSO Team Leader, will be responsible for managing all the electrical and instrument engineering aspects involved during Bidding evaluation and design. He also responsible for the preparation of the response to FPSO tender clarifications on behalf of Client. The E & I Engineering will be located in the office in HCMC. Main responsibilities and accountabilities encompass technical resolution during pre-award activities and post award project implementation of the FPSO in accordance with project specifications and requirement:
· Provide technical and functional expertise in Electric and Instrument Systems for the bid evaluation and design review
· Coordinate design review to ensure FPSO specifications and overall functionality are consistent with the Contract and implementation plan
· Review bid submittals and design deliverables to ensure Manage external interfaces between FPSO with other related packages, client’s various departments and relevant parties to assist and ensure a smooth and safe transition process from Development to Production phase.
· Liaise with Engineering Contractor, FPSO Construction team as required to support design and construction progress.
· Participate in tanker selection site visits and coordinate reporting of findings.
· Review of detailed E & I engineering and design ensuring that the works is in full compliance with Classification Society, Flag State and contractual standards.
· Produce technical reports and technical recommendations as required
· Ensure that LSJOC HSE and project specific policies / requirement are met
Work experience requirements:
The candidate should have the following qualifications and direct working experience in Offshore Oil & Gas Field Development Engineering:
· Minimum of 10 years working experience Oil and Gas business, extensive experience in Floating Storage & Production Facilities are preferable.
· Participated in at least two refurbishment/conversions of floating production and storage facilities at senior E & I Engineering level or similar position
· Knowledge in the design and operation of floating production facilities
· Direct experience as a senior supervisor or E & I engineer for floating facilities / production facilities
· Knowledge of relevant Classification Society and Marine Safety standards and codes Education Requirements
· Proficient computer skills with modern day PC application packages

· Degree qualified with an engineering degree or relevant experience
